Our hotel can accommodate up to 147 guests.Thirty-three cozy rooms allow you to truly relax and get away. Our rooms do not have the distractions of televisions or telephones. Stay in one of four unique caboose rentals or six new family cabins. You will quickly discover why our Inn is called, "A place where time stands still and lets you catch up." The Izaak Walton Inn also hosts a number of weddings and group events throughout the season. Ride the 'red bus' around Glacier, raft down the Flathead river, hike on our trails. In winter, we maintain 33km of groomed cross country ski trails. We can arrange for ski tours and ski lessons. If you need the proper equipment we have a full service rental program for backcountry, classic cross country, skate skis, snowshoes and ice skates. Our Dining Car restaurant is open everyday. Chef Rich offers a full menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. After your meal relax in our quiet lobby with it's large stone fireplace. For evening fun visit our Flagstop Bar furnished with a pool table, two juke boxes and a ping-pong room. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Izaak Walton Inn is an alpine lodge constructed in 1939 by the Great Northern Railroad to house winter snow removal crews.
