Surrounded by wilderness, yet easily accessible by Amtrak, the historic Izaak Walton Inn welcomes visitors to the Glacier National Park area with year-round dining, lodging and recreation.
Great Northern Railroad built the Inn in 1939 to house snow removal crews. Nowadays the Inn hosts cross country skiers, snowshoers, outdoor enthusiasts of all types, railfans and many guests who come to simply relax.
